Notes on Prices
The above listed prices are in line with the latest GebüTh (Gebührenübersicht für Therapeuten) and include an increase factor of 1.8. This factor follows the suggestions of the vdek (Verband der Ersatzkassen) and is commonly set for these services between 1.8 and 2.3.
Furthermore, I would like to point out the following: I can only offer speech and language therapy as a private service (self-pay or privately insured patients). On the one hand, I work as a freelance speech and language therapist without my own SLT practice. On the other hand, it is legally prohibited to provide speech and language therapy services at a child care facility to patients covered by statutory health care. Treatment is only possible under very limited circumstances:
“Treatment of children and adolescents up to the age of 18, and, if necessary, beyond this age until completion of the school education, is exceptionally possible without prescribing a home visit outside of the practice, provided that the insured person attends a day care facility for the whole day and the treatment takes place in this facility. These may also be regular kindergartens (day care centers) or regular schools. The prerequisite for this is that the prescription of the therapeutic treatment indicates a particular severity and long-term nature of the functional or structural damage and the impairment of activities.” (Translation of the original German)
